3 Terrorists Neutralised In Shopian

Three Terrorists have been neutralised by security forces at Turkwangam area of Shopian in South Kashmir. This joint operation is being conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Police, Indian Army and CRPF. Currently this joint operation is still going on between terrorists and security forces.

According to officials, during a search operation in the Turkwangam area, Terrorists started firing on the security forces. After this, Encounter between Security forces and Terrorists started. Three terrorists neutralised in this encounter. Two AK rifles and an INSAS rifle have been recovered from these terrorists.

The neutralised terrorists have been identified as Hizbul Mujahideen district Commander Zubair Wani, Kamran Manhas (nephew of former PDP MLC Zaffar Iqbal Manhas) and Muneeb-ul-Haq of Sugan Zainapora Shopian.

Security forces have neutralised 19 Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorists in Shopian and Kulgam district this month alone.
