Four Indian Army soldiers were martyred after being hit by Avalanches at two separate forward posts of Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir. Three Jawans martyred in Tangdhar in Jammu and Kashmir and one Jawan martyred in Kupwara due to Avalaches.
The name of three martyred soldiers are Havildar Rajendra Singh, Sepoy Amit and Sepoy Kamal Kumar.

The Indian army’s eagle post was hit by an Avalanche on Tuesday evening. During this time, four soldiers went missing, out of which one has been rescued, while three have died. The bodies of the three have been recovered.
Earlier , an army jawan died due to avalanche in Kupwara district on Tuesday afternoon . At least two soldiers were caught in this incident. Search and rescue operations were carried out till late Tuesday evening but had to be stopped due to bad weather.
The name of one martyred soldier is Naik Akhil SS.
In Last two weeks, total 10 Indian Army jawans have been martyred due to Avalanches.
