Gujarat Police has arrested four people on suspicion of spying on Indian Air Force installations for Pakistan’s intelligence agency. The SOG of Western Kutch has arrested 4 people near Naliya Airbase.
According to the information, the accused were secretly taking photographs of Air Force radar. Officials suspect that these people were preparing to send important information related Air Force to Pakistan.
According to information received from sources, the authorities suspect that these people were sending confidential information and photos related to the Air Force to Pakistan. The Western Kutch SOG is investigating the entire case.
The name of arrested people are:-
- Hajam Mamadrafik, 23 years
- Sumra Arbaz Ismail, 20 years
- Padeiyar Abas, 18 years
- A 17-year-old minor
All four accused are residents of Abdasa taluka of Kutch district. Hajam Mamadrafik is a barber and Sumra Arbaz Ismail runs a mobile shop, while Padeiyar Abas and 17 year-old minor are the students of a private school.
The Kutch Police has filed a FIR under section 123 (concealing with intent to facilitate design to wage war), section 120B (conspiracy) and the Official Secrets Act.
