A fighter Aircraft of the Indian Air Force has crashed at Chuharpur Village District Nawanshahar in Punjab today. The MiG-29 crashed at 10:45 AM on Friday. However, the pilot ejected safely and he has been rescued by a helicopter.
After receiving the news of the crash of the MiG-29, people from nearby villages reached the spot. After this, officials of the district and police administration have also reached the spot.

IAF said, “At 1045h, Mig-29 aircraft airborne on a training mission from an Air Force base near Jalandhar met with an accident. The aircraft had developed a technical snag and the pilot ejected safely. The pilot has been rescued by a helicopter.”
