A new spider species named after PVC CAPTAIN VIKRAM BATRA by Dhruv Prajapati

“Yeh Dil Mange More!!!”…by reading this line many of you will memorize the old advertisement of Pepsi during 90’s but it is not the same for many people like me because of one braveheart soldier who martyred for India.
In June, 1999 he choose this line as a “success code” in Kargil War. He got one mission from Lt. Colonel, in which himself along with his team has to secure one of the three hill named Pt 5140 from enemies and after securing the Pt 5140 he has to give this success code via wireless phone. Before going for a mission he invited Lt. Colonel for tea at Pt 5140 on very next day morning…

Before going for a mission he invited Lt. Colonel for tea at Pt 5140 on very next day morning…

๐Ÿคฉ

after that he went for a mission in late evening.!!!

๐Ÿ˜Ž
๐Ÿ˜‡

It was already 4 o’clock of morning and Lt. Colonel yet not got any message from him so he sent a wireless message, “Shershah, report!” (Shershah was the sectret code for that soldier). There was no reply for few minutes…and after few more minutes message came on wireless…”Sir, give me some time…”.
After half an hour on exact 4:30 o’clock there was another message on wireless…”Sir….YEH DIL MANGE MORE..Sir!!!”

๐Ÿ˜Ž
๐Ÿ˜Ž
๐Ÿ˜‡

. Lt. Colonel replied, “Shershah, how many casualties?”. Lt. Colonel was so happy after getting the reply from Shershah and it was, “NO CASUALTIES SIR!!”

๐Ÿ˜Ž

…and as per the invitation Lt. Colonel went for a tea on Pt 5140 and he wrote a request letter to announce “Mahavir chakra award” for shershah’s bravery but nobody knows that “Param Vir Chakra Award” is waiting for him on Pt 4875.
Actually he didn’t choosed for Pt 4875 mission because he already did one and the Lt. Colonel wants to send others… but he forced to Colonel and finally he was sent for another mission. It was so tough to secure the Pt 4875 hill because of the good position of enemies, but Shershah still manage to distroy 3 main bankers of enemies singlehandedly.
After few hours of firing one of the soldier got injured and shershah along with one of his teammate (named Raghunath) decided to get him back but he was in the firing range of enemies. Shershah already knows that it was so risky but still they went to get him….

๐Ÿ˜Ž

Now the thing is who will pick him from the front side?? from which the enemies were firing…and Raghunath told to Shershah, “Sir, Mai Matthe se pakdta hu..aap pair pakdaiye (Sir, I will hold him from head and you please hold him from legs)”…and Shershah replied, “Nahi..Tum balbacchedar aadami ho…tumhe kuch ho gaya to tumhari family ko kya javab dunga..mai matthe se pakadta hu (No, you have family..if any thing happens to you then what will I answer to you family?? I will hold him from head)”. When he is going to get the soldier back, at the same time enemy fired the bullet from his sniper which penetrate from the Shershah’s chest.

๐Ÿ˜“
๐Ÿ˜ญ

and he martyred for our nation at the age of 25 by protecting our nation.
He is nothing but our own “Capt. Vikram Batra”, he is also known as a “Shershah of Kargil”. For his heroic action in securing Pt 5140, destroying 3 bankers in Pt 4875 singlehandedly and saving his teammate’s life without taking care of his own life he was awarded (posthumously) “Param Vir Chakra” which is India’s highest military decoration and equivalent to the Medal of Honor in the US and the Victoria Cross in the UK.
When Capt. Vikram Batra was on holidays at home in 1999 he got order to report at Kargil as soon as possible. That time his one of the friend told him to take care of himself…and “The” Vikram sir replied (which is very famous line now), “don’t worry brother…Either I will come back after hoisting the Indain flag in Kargil, or I will come back wrapped in it, but I will be back for sure”

๐Ÿ˜Ž
๐Ÿ˜‡

… and at the end he kept his both the promises.
How braveheart he is!!! He never thought about his own life and he protected us by protecting India but still many of us don’t know even his name!!! It is shame for all of us.
So here I am dedicating my small research to India’s braveheart soldier “PVC Capt. Vikram Batra” by giving his name to one new jumping spider. Herewith I am presenting “Icius vikrambatrai Prajapati et al., 2018″
Hope I can do more and more research like this because… “Yeh Dil Mange Moree!!”
