Air Force Chief Slammed HAL for delay and tell why IAF need Rafale & S-400 ASAP

IAF Chief B S Dhanoa again slammed the critics over Rafale deal and give some bold statement about HAL, Rafle & S-400. Here is the Statement given by IAF chief:

IAF chief Slammed HAL(Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) for delay in delivery of aircrafts. He said, “There has been delay in delivery schedule in contracts already executed to HAL. There is a 3 yrs delay in delivery of Sukhoi-30, 6 years delay in Jaguar, 5 year delay in LCA, and 2 year delay in delivery of Mirage 2000 upgrade”

Talking about the HAL and rafale deal controversy he said, “It was decided to buy two squadrons through Government to Government, to meet up emergency requirements. HAL was involved in ToT (Transfer of Technology) and licensed production. There is no question of HAL being left out”

Talking about the Rafale deal He said, “Govt took a bold step & bought 36 Rafale aircraft. A high performance, high-tech aircraft has been to the given to the air force to offset the capability of the adversary”

He Again Said, “We had reached an impasse. We had 3 options, first was either to wait for something to happen, withdraw RFP or do an emergency purchase. We did an emergency purchase. Both Rafale and S-400 deal is a booster deal for air force. It’s a very good aircraft. When it comes to the subcontinent, it will be a game changer. We have lots of advantages in the Rafale Deal”

He also said about the China threats in Tibet, “We’re watching infrastructure developments (in China). They (China) have been saying that airports are coming up for regional connectivity. We’ve a plan to counter that. We’re also developing infrastructure. 50 Chinese aircraft in Tibet is not a threat”

These statements by IAF chief slammed the critics and now they have no any other proofs to say Rafale deal as a scam. IAF vice chief earlier said that the critics don’t have any knowledge about Rafale.
