BSF Troops Save Pregnant Women During Heavy Snowfall

BSF troops rescued a pregnant women during heavy snowfall in Kashmir on Thursday. The woman delivered a baby girl after BSF troops took her to hospital during heavy snowfall.

A family of the 22-year-old woman called the district administration at about 11:30 AM on Thursday as the woman experienced premature labour pains.

Family of pregnant women was scared at first when the intense pain started because the area was cut off due to heavy snowfall and hence the administration alerted BSF’s 70th battalion located close in Singhpora.

A team of 70 BSF jawans went there and cleared several kilometers of snow-covered road and took the woman to hospital.

The BSF Troops took the woman to the nearest Baramulla district hospital where she delivered a baby girl. Both of them are safe now.
