Government has imposed section 144 in jammu & Kashmir. All Schools & colleges are shut down and exams have postponed further. Internet & Communication services are also shout down in Jammu & kashmir. Ladakh region is normal. All schools and colleges in Ladakh have opened today.

In view of the tension that has been going on in Jammu and Kashmir for the past several days, the administration has imposed Section 144 in Jammu from 6 am on Monday.

40 companies of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been deployed in 8 districts of Jammu. Apart from this, section 144 is also applicable in Srinagar. In both places all the educational institutions have also been closed till further orders.

Internet and mobile services have also been closed in many areas including Srinagar and Jammu on Sunday night. Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti claimed that they were interned in their house. Section 144 has been imposed in Jammu, Udhampur, Doda and Reasi too. At the same time, schools and colleges have also been closed in all these places.

A meeting of the central cabinet is scheduled at 9:30 in the morning at the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi. There is speculation that in this meeting, the situation of Jammu and Kashmir, removal of Article 35A and Article 370 can also be discussed. There is also speculation that a decision may be taken regarding article 35A in this meeting. Home Minister Amit Shah and NSA Ajit Doval have reached the PM residence 1 hour before this meeting. He also discussed law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in the morning.

After the advisory of leaving the valley by the administration in Jammu and Kashmir, all the tourists are still returning to their respective homes. On Sunday, Home Minister Amit Shah also held a high-level meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Anil Gaba and other security officials. It is believed that this meeting happened to discuss the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

In view of security in Srinagar, even cable TV services have been discontinued. No leader is allowed to rally. On the question of strictness on the leaders, the Ministry of Home Affairs has said that all this is being done in view of security. It has been clarified by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir that no curfew has been imposed in the state. All these arrangements are being made for safety.

In view of the stressful situation, all the examinations of Jammu University have also been extended for further consideration. On behalf of the University, it has been said that all the examinations to be held on August 5 have been extended. Their new dates will be announced soon.

All schools and colleges in Kathua have also been closed till further orders.

Situation of Ladakh region is normal. All schools and colleges in Ladakh have opened today.
