Today CRPF personnel have rescued a man who was trapped in debris of landslide on Jammu-Kashmir highway. CRPF dog Ajaxi today found a man trapped under debris of landslide that occurred last night near milestone 147 on Jammu-Srinagar highway. On cue from Ajaxi, CRPF personnel of 72nd Battalion rescued the man.

When the BDD squad of 72Bn of CRPF was carefully conducting checks at NH44 (Jammu-Srinagar Highway) after the landslide. At around 06:30 am today, when this squad reached Mile Stone 147 then the CRPF dog Ajaxi started giving alerting signals.
The rescued man is identified as Pradeep Kumar, a native of local village Ludhwal. Pradeep is being administered medical aid but is currently unable to speak due to the shock of the incident.
