People protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) have become violent on Monday. During the violence, Delhi Police head constable Ratan Lal died. He was posted in the ACP Gokulpuri office. According to sources, 10 Delhi Police personnel injured in today violence.
A police officer said that a head constable of the Delhi Police died on Monday during a clash over the citizenship law in North-East Delhi. Many policemen have also been injured. He said that many vehicles, shops and houses were set on fire by protesters.

Shahadara DCP Amit Sharma was also injured in the violence. He has been admitted to a hospital in Patparganj.
An anti-CAA protester also opened fire in Jaffarabad area of North-east Delhi. He pointed pistol at policeman and fired around eight rounds.
