Dr. Karan Singh, Congress leader & Son of Maharaja Hari Singh, supported the removal of Article 370

The Congress has split in two parts on the government’s decision to remove Article 370 related to granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Senior Congress leader Dr. Karan Singh has supported the government’s decision on this issue. He also supported the removal of article 35A. He has welcomed the decision of the government. Dr. Karan Singh is the son of Maharaja Hari Singh. He said that making Ladakh a union territory is a welcome move.

This bill was passed by the Rajya Sabha on Monday. In the Rajya Sabha on Monday, 125 votes were cast in favor of this bill, while 61 MPs voted in the opposition.
