French President Emmanuel Macron has decided to greet all his counterparts with a Namaste to avoid body-contact with other persons due to the coronavirus outbreak. Indian style Namaste is a graceful gesture that he has retained from his India visit in 2018.

Few days ago, Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu had also encouraged Israelis to adopt the Indian way of greeting Namaste at a press conference to mitigate the spread of coronavirus.
