Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said the government is considering the financial assistance of at least one crore rupees to the dependents of the security personnel who are martyred on the border. On the occasion of 57th Raising Day of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Home Minister Rajnath Singh at Surajpur took salute from the parade. The women’s parade of ITBP is a center of attraction.
On this occasion, Rajnath Singh honored the ITBP jawans and officers for outstanding service. The Home Minister also inaugurated the 200-bed Referral Hospital here. Addressing the jawans on this occasion, the Home Minister said that the government is fully endeavoring to provide adequate medical care to the families of the jawans deployed on the border.
He said that the personnel of the security forces on the border should get at least one crore rupees for their families. The government is considering this.
