Jammu and Kashmir government has established 25 ‘smart schools’ in Srinagar. These smart schools have libraries, science labs, smart class rooms & many other facilities.
Talking with ANI, A student Mehreen Bhat said, “I have not seen facilities like smart boards & projectors even in private schools, it has made studying more fun”.

In December, the Srinagar administration had said that it would soon equip government schools with modern facilities. After 25 schools, the administration is planning to convert more schools into smart schools. Now Srinagar has more smart schools than private schools. These schools will provide better education to the economically weaker children.

After abrogation of Article 370 from state of Jammu and Kashmir, Central Government is trying to develop the J&K. PM Narendra Modi has also instructed all Union Ministers to complete all the development works in Jammu and Kashmir as soon as possible.
