Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan mocked the Navjot Singh Sidhu during the inauguration ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor on November 9. Imran Khan referred to Navjot Singh Sidhu as “hamaara Sidhu” while enquiring about his arrival.
A video is becoming viral on Social media where Imran Khan is talking with the Pakistani government officials and mocking Navjot Singh Sidhu. Imran Khan asked for Sidhu, saying, “Achcha hamaara woh Sidhu kidhar hai? Main keh raha hoon hamaara Sidhu(laughing). Aa gaya woh?”
Imran Khan also talked about Former Indian Prime Minister saying, “Acha Manmohan aa gaya (Has Monmohan come).”
Imran’s minister – Pakistan’s Information and Broadcasting minister Firdous Ashiq Awan – can be heard commenting, “If they (India) stop Sidhu”, then Imran Khan responds, “Hum Usko hero banyenge (We will make Sidhu a hero)”. She then says, “ye har ek channel ka headline hoga (That will be every channels headline).”
Another minister said, “Our gates are open and their gates are closed”.

Navjot Singh Sidhu thanked the Pakistani Pm Imran Khan and Indian Pm Narendra Modi for this Kartarpur corridor in his speech during Kartarpur Gurudwara opening ceremony and said, “It is the first time since partition that the boundaries have been dismantled. No one can deny my friend Imran Khan’s contribution. I thank Modi ji also for it. I am sending a Munnabhai MBBS-style hug to you Modi sahab for this.”
Navjot Singh Sidhu also said, “It is the first time since partition that the boundaries have been dismantled. No one can deny my friend Imran Khan’s contribution. Imran Khan has won the hearts of 140 million Sikhs.”
