The Indian Air Force (IAF) has brought back 58 Indians from coronavirus-hit Iran today. The IAF aircraft ‘C-17 Globemaster’ was sent to Iran on Monday evening.
Stranded Indians have been rescued By Indian Air Force in Iran and the First batch of 58 Indian pilgrims have been brought back from Iran.
“The IAF aircraft has landed. Mission completed. On to the next,” External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar tweeted.

“IAF C-17 returned from Iran to Hindan airbase this morning with 58 Indian citizens onboard. These passengers included 25 men, 31 women and 2 children. The aircraft also carried 529 samples for investigation,” Indian Air Force said in a statement.
