The Army has detained a suspected young man who was spying for Pakistan in the Kota Army area of Rajasthan. The arrested man has been identified as Imran, hailing from Baghpat district in Uttar Pradesh.
Currently, the Army, police and intelligence agencies are interrogating Imran to find more details.
“The preliminary inquiry has revealed that the accused Imran is a resident of Uttar Pradesh, who was working as a carpenter under a contractor in the city’s Army area. He had been working in the Army area for the past two months. He was arrested from the workplace on Saturday,” Superintendent of Police, Kota City, Gourav Yadav said.
Many important disclosures have come from the mobile of the accused. The accused was involved in several Pakistani WhatsApp groups and was in contact with many people of Pakistan through social media.
According to PTI report, Imran used to send many photographs of Kota military area and railway station area to Pakistan, which he has confessed in the interrogation.
