Imran Khan: ISI is Pakistan’s ‘First Line of Defence’ & World’s best intelligence agency

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan first went to the headquarters of the powerful spy agency ISI and described it as the “first line of defense” of the country. According to an official statement, senior officials of ‘Inter-Services Intelligence’ (ISI) gave detailed information about various strategic intelligence and national security issues with senior cabinet ministers on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by the Army Media Cell ‘Inter-Services Public Relations’ (ISPR), the Prime Minister appreciated the ISI’s contribution to national security, especially the anti-terrorist efforts. He said that ISI is our first line of defense and is working as the world’s best intelligence agency.

Imran Khan told the ISI officials that his government and the people of Pakistan are standing firmly behind the armed forces and intelligence agencies. He appreciated the unprecedented achievements of these institutions.

Some days ago on 7th September, under an unusual step, Pakistan’s military chief General Kamar Javed Bajwa had advocated the need for strengthening democracy and institutions in the 2-4 country with the threat of coup and The forum was shared with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
