India Deploys Air Defence Missile Systems In Eastern Ladakh

India has deployed its advanced very quick-reaction surface-to-air missile defence systems in the Eastern Ladakh sector after increase in Chinese fighter aircraft and helicopter activities along the LAC.

According to ANI report, These Advance Air Defence systems have been deployed by both Indian Army and the Indian Air Force in Eastern Ladakh sector to prevent any misadventure by the PLA’s Helicopters or Chinese Air Force fighter jets.

In recent times, China’s surveillance aircraft have been seen flying very close to the LAC. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has now deployed a missile defense system to monitor the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) air force and respond quickly to any action. Now the entire sector has an advanced quick reaction surface-to-air missile defense system that can destroy any Chinese fighter jet in a few seconds.

The Chinese Air Force has also deployed Sukhoi-30 and its Xian H-6 strategic bombers behind the LAC. It has been seen flying within a radius of 10 km near the LAC.

The Indian Army has also sent ‘Akash’ missiles in eastern Ladakh which can fire any high-speed aircraft or drone in seconds. It has undergone many modifications and upgrades so that it can be used with the same accuracy even in hilly areas.

India is going to get the S-400 from Russia soon. After that India can easily monitor the entire area by air defence system. Indian Air Force fighter aircraft are already very active in the eastern Ladakh sector.
