Air Force senior officials can clear the situation on the Rafael aircraft deal in a seminar. These officers have been involved in negotiations with the deal. This seminar is to be held on the 12th of this month. The main Opposition party, the Congress is continuously targeting the Central Government on the Rafael aircraft deal.
In order to ensure complete transparency in this deal, the Narendra Modi government took a big step and made a senior Air Force officer head of the party negotiating the contract with French company Dassault Aviation.
According to top sources, A seminar is to be organized on September 12. Its theme is the structure of the Air Force by 2035. Officials involved in Rafael Deals will also participate in this program. He can answer questions related to every aspect of this deal with France in September, 2016. ‘
This seminar is going to Organized by group related to Center for Air Power Studies (CAPS). It will also include Chief of Central Air Command- Air Marshal SBP Sinha. He has been a part of all the important processes in the Rafale deal. He is also the initial head of the Rafale Contracting Dialogue Committee (CNC). This contract was finalized under the current head of training command and under the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff of the country.

All new purchases related to the weapon system and the platform in the Air Force have been done under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of the Air Force. The current Deputy Chief of the Air Force and Hero of Kargil War, Raghunath Nambiar is also likely to address this seminar. The inaugural speech at this seminar is likely to be given by Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa.

The Air Chief has already clarified that no extra money has been given in the Rafale deal. At the same time the Congress has alleged that the Modi government has done this deal by paying more than the Rafael aircraft previous deal from France. Congress is saying it ‘corruption’ done by the government. According to Air Force sources, there is no scope for allegations of lack of transparency in this deal because the entire negotiation process was executed by Air Force officers. They have ensured complete transparency in it.
The Modi government has made a deal worth 58,000 crores to buy 36 Rafale aircraft with France. These aircraft will begin to deliver from September, 2019. By 2021-22 India will have full fleet. The Air Force is in favor of purchasing the Rafael aircraft.
