An Indian army jawan Havildar Sambur Gurung Made Supreme Sacrifice At LoC in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district on Thursday night.
Havildar Sambur Gurung belonged to Gorkha district of Nepal.

Havildar Sambur Gurung was critically injured during unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistani Army at the LoC in Nowshera sector and later he lost his life in hospital.
Indian Army responded strongly to unprovoked ceasefire violation on the Line of control (LoC), said Indian Army in a statement.
“Havildar Sambur Gurung was a brave, highly motivated and sincere soldier. The nation will always remain indebted to him for his supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty,” Lt Col Devender Anand, defence spokesperson, said in the statement.
