Indian Army says, Shehla Rashid is spreading fake news about Army

Shehla Rashid, an ex-student leader of JNU and former vice president of JNUSU, on Sunday tweeted 10 tweets about the condition of Kashmir in which she claimed that the current situation in the valley is very bad. But after few hours, The Indian Army has rejected her claims and termed it baseless. 

Shehla Rashid had tweeted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir say that People are saying that J&K Police has no authority on law & order situation. They’ve been rendered powerless. Everything is in the hands of paramilitary forces. One SHO was transferred on complaint of a CRPF man. Not only this, Shehla alleged in her tweet that security forces enter the house at night and pick up the boys. 

She also alleged, “In Shopian, 4 men were called into the Army camp and “interrogated” (tortured).”

After few hours of her allegations, Indian Army rejected Shehla Rashid claims and Indian Army said, “Allegations levelled by Shehla Rashid are baseless and rejected. Such unverified & fake news are spread by inimical elements and organisations to incite unsuspecting opulation. “

Shehla Rashid also claimed about Cooking gas shortage in Kashmir because Gas agencies are closed.

But Department of Information and Public Relations, Govt of Jammu & Kashmir has already clarified that 19 LPG distributing agencies in dist. to undertake & ensure home-delivery in all their concerned areas.

Shehla Rashid tried to create fake narrative with her series of tweets about Indian Army & CRPF but Indian Army rejected all her claims & said, “Allegations levelled by Shehla Rashid are baseless and rejected.”
