ISRO Cartosat-2 series satellite sent a image of a part of Indore with Holkar Cricket Stadium in the centre. The Image is so clear that it is better than map of Google, Apple & Bing(Microsoft).
ISRO released an image of a part of Indore with Holkar Cricket Stadium in the centre. The image was captured by the satellite on Monday. Cartosat-2 series is the primary satellite carried by PSLV-C40 on Jan 12
ISRO on January 16 released the first image captured by its Cartosat-2 series satellite which was recently launched from the space agency’s spaceport at Sriharikota, 110 km from Chennai. ISRO released an image of a part of Indore with Holkar Cricket Stadium in the centre. It was released on the Bengaluru-headquartered space agency’s website.
Cartosat-2 series is the primary satellite carried by PSLV-C40. The rocket carried 30 other satellites including 28 from six foreign countries.
The image which is sent by the satellite of ISRO is more clear and better than the any other map provider(google, Apple, Bing). here the comparison between the map of ISRO, Google, Apple and Bing(Microsoft).

The images sent by the satellite will be useful for cartographic applications, urban and rural applications, coastal land use and regulation, utility management like road network monitoring, water distribution, creation of land use maps, change detection to bring out geographical and manmade features and various other Land Information System (LIS) as well as Geographical Information System (GIS) applications.
