Indian Space and research Organistaion (ISRO) has to launch World’s most powerful image capturing satellite on 27 November 2019. The name of this satellite is Cartosat-3.
This satellite will work as a Military Spy satellite which will help Indian Army in future. Cartosat-3 is an earth imaging satellite. It is a third generation agile advanced satellite having high resolution imaging capability.
ISRO’s Cartosat-3 will be the 9th satellite of Cartosat series. The camera of Cartosat-3 is so much powerful that it will be able to take pictures of less than 1 feet (9.84 inches) on the ground from Space. Cartosat-3 is so much powerful that it can tell you the exact time in your wrist watch by capturing the image of it from space.
No Country has launched a satellite camera with Such accuracy yet. USA’s Private Space Company Digital Globe GeoI-1 satellite can take pictures upto height of 16.14 inches but ISRO’s Cartosat-3 will be able to take pictures of less than 1 feet (9.84 inches).
The ISRO’s Cartosat satellite had also helped in Indian Army’s Surgical Strike and IAF’s Air Strike in Pakistan. It can take pictures in different types of Weather. It will also help in Natural Disasters.
On 12 January 2018, ISRO launched the Cartosat-2 series satellite which sent a image of a part of Indore with Holkar Cricket Stadium in the centre. The Image is so clear that it is better than map of Google, Apple & Bing(Microsoft).
ISRO released an image of a part of Indore with Holkar Cricket Stadium in the centre. The image was captured by the satellite on Monday. Cartosat-2 series is the primary satellite carried by PSLV-C40 on Jan 12
On 16 January 2018, ISRO released the first image captured by its Cartosat-2 series satellite.

India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLV-C47 will launch Cartosat-3 and 13 commercial nano satellites into Sun Synchronous orbit from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota. The launch is tentatively scheduled at 09:28 am on November 27, 2019, subject to weather conditions.
ISRO has alos Launched India’s NavIC satellite navigation system. Navigation with India constellation (NavIC) is an India Regional Navigation Satellite system (IRNSS) which has been developed by Indian Space organisation (ISRO).
The NavIC will look exactly like the American GPS, but its quality will be better than the GPS.
Others GPS have a position accuracy of 20-30 meters, the position accuracy of the NavIC is 5 meters, making it technically better than the all others GPS. NavIC has 5 times more accuracy than other GPS.
Few days ago, ISRO has also parterned with Qualcomm for geographical location and measurement.
