But today we are going to tell you about a martyrs’ wife story, who had lots of trouble when her husband martyred , but she did not lose her courage even after the death of her husband and fought for her family and her daughter. Who displayed strong determination and rare power. This woman is the wife of the martyr and her name is Niru Sambyal. Niru Sambyal, living in Samba of Jammu and Kashmir, has joined the army while fulfilling the interests of her husband. She successfully completed her military training and now She joined the Indian Army as a lieutenant.
Niru’s husband, Rifleman Ravinder Samal, was martyred during a drill with his regiment on May 2, 2015. Niru and Ravinder got married in April 2013 and both have a daughter of two years. When Niru gave birth to her daughter, her husband had left this world. Niru had determined that She would fulfill her husband’s dreams and therefore she decided to enter the army. Niru took training in the new batch of Chennai’s Officer Training Academy with several military officers and today she is a lieutenant in the army.
Recalling the days of her struggle, Niru recalls, “I and Rifleman Ravinder Singh Samyal were married in the year 2013. Ravinder was in Infratry. When I received news of his martyrdom, I did not believe at all that this has happened. But my daughter became the source of inspiration for me. I never wanted that she felt a lack of her father. I wanted to play the role of father and mother to fulfill her wishes and dreams. Thanks to this inspiration, I completed 49 weeks of training. I joined Indian army on 8th sept, 2018.
On joining the army, she said, “Being in the army should be mentally strong, because there is a time when one has to face situations where physical strength does not matter much.” Niru told that in every decision she got full support from her family. She told that in-laws and maternal assistants helped her to fulfill his dream.
Niru’s father Darshan Singh is very happy with the success of his daughter. He says, ‘I am very happy and proud of my daughter’s achievement. I did everything that could have possible for me. Her in-laws also have full credit for her success. My daughter’s purpose was that she should join the army, although it was a tough decision but after discussions, we decided to complete her dream. ‘ Talking about the struggles of his daughter, he said, “She was competing against 26 women during the selection of SSB . Today I am happy and proud that she got the fruits of her struggle.
