Kolkata Police’s Special Task Force (STF) team has arrested a wanted Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) top commander Abdul Karim alias Boro Abdul Karim from Suti Police Station area in Murshidabad, West Bengal.
“Abdul Karim is considered as the second top commander of terrorist group Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in India. Karim was the leader of the Dhuliyan module and actively supplied logistics, support & shelter to top JMB leaders like Salehuddin,” the Kolkata police said.

His name was mentioned as the main operative also by JMB terrorists in Bangladesh during their interrogation.
In 2018, Police raided the Abdul Karim house in Bangladesh but he managed to escape. However, the police seized a large quantity of explosives and jihadi literatures from his house. Since then, the police was looking for Karim.
