Karnataka government is likely to withdraw case against Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) CoBRA commando Sachin Sunil Savanth.
Karnataka Director General of Police has assured CRPF that the “case registered against CRPF CoBRA commando is likely to be withdrawn by state authorities.”
Karnataka culture and tourism minister CT Ravi had tweeted on April 27 and assured that the issue will be resolved amicably. He had said that he had talked to Industry Minister Jagdish Shettar and Transport Minister Laxman Savadi. Both have given the assurance to resolve the case.

Karnataka Police personnel had assaulted the CRPF CoBRA commando Sachin savant who was on leave and washing his bike outside his house. In video, It can be clearly seen that CoBRA commando Sachin Savant was trying to explain but police started assaulting him for not wearing a mask.
