Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has once again questioned Pakistan’s intention behind the Kartarpur Corridor. Amarinder Singh has said that he is very happy as a Sikh but as Chief Minister, he is very suspicious of Pakistan’s intention. Apart from this, the CM of Punjab spoke in detail on the preparations being made by his government on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev.
Capt Amarinder said that the ISI could have hand in it, Navjot Singh Sidhu was called when Imran Khan was sworn in. Before the oath of Imran Khan, the PAK Army General told Sidhu that they were opening the Kartarpur Corridor. While, Imran Khan did not even become Prime Minister.
Capt Amarinder said, “I think Sidhu has accepted the invitation of Imran Khan. As soon as this matter came to me, I submitted it to the Ministry of External Affairs.”
The Punjab CM alleged that the ISI is running a campaign of Referendum 2020, so Sikhs are being instigated. As a Sikh, I am going to Kartarpur Sahib batch but as CM I also have many concerns.
On his visit to Pakistan, the Punjab CM said that I had already said that I will not go there, as long as our army soldiers continue to be martyrs, how can I go there. In the last one or two years, a lot of intruders have been caught in Punjab.
Few days ago, Indian Intelligence agencies had also found terrorist training activities in Narowal district of Punjab province of Pakistan where Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara is located.
Sources in the intelligence agencies said that the terrorist training camps are located in Muridke, Shakurgarh and Narowal in Punjab province of Pakistan. Men and women are getting training there. In Ikhlaspur and Shakurgarh, inputs about the movement of terrorists are received from time to time.
Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara is located in Narowal district of Punjab province of Pakistan, which is located 4.5 kilometers from the border near Dera Baba Nanak Sahib. This Gurudwara is quite sacred place for Sikhs, because Guru Nanak dev spent last 18 years of his life here.
On 9 November, Imran Khan will inaugurate the Kartarpur corridor located in Narowal district of Punjab province of Pakistan and Indian Pm Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the Kartarpur Corridor on 9 November from Indian side.
