Kayla Mueller: USA named Baghdadi Operation after the name of an ISIS hostage

The US military operation in Syria which caused the death of ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was named after Kayla Mueller, the White House national security adviser said on Sunday.

Who is Kayla Mueller ?

Kayla Mueller was a humanitarian worker from Arizona, USA. She went to Aleppo in Syria in August 2013 from Turkey and wanted to visit the hospital run by the international aid group Médecines Sans Frontières. While She was on visit of Hospital, She was captured by ISIS. She was tortured and imprisoned by ISIS and sexually abused by ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi himself. In February 2015, It was confirmed by the officials that she had died in ISIS custody due to extreme tortured at the age of 26.

Kayla Mueller’s mother said on the death of Baghdadi, “I still say Kayla should be here, and if Obama had been as decisive as President Trump, maybe she would have been”

According to US officials, She was sexually abused by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi himself for more than one years and because of this reason, Operation has been named as “Kayla Mueller” as a tribute to a great young lady who was trying to help the victims in Hospital of Syria.
