Mumbai’s former police commissioner Rakesh Maria has made a sensational disclosure about the Mumbai attack in his book. He has written in his book ‘Let Me Say It Now’ that if the Lashkar plan had been successful, the headlines of ‘Hindu terror’ would have appeared on all newspapers and TV channels.
He wrote in his book that if the Pakistani terrorist Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab, who was involved in the Mumbai attack of 26 November 2008, died on the spot, then the world would probably have considered the incident as Hindu terrorism. The Pakistani terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba, which carried out the 26/11 attack, hatched a very dangerous conspiracy to make it look like a terrorist attack on behalf of the Hindus of India.
The former IPS officer also claimed that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI wanted to prove all the terrorists of Mumbai attack as a ‘Hindu terror attack’. A fake ID card was also found with Kasab, written on it, Sameer Dinesh Chaudhary. Kasab also tied a sacred Hindus red thread around his wrist.
“Kasab seriously believed that Muslims were not allowed to offer namaaz in India, and mosques were locked up by the authorities. He felt that the azaan he heard five times a day in the crime branch lockup was just a figment of his imagination. When we came to know of this, I instructed Mahale (investigating officer Ramesh Mahale) to take him to the mosque near the metro cinema in a vehicle.” Rakesh Maria has written in his book, as quoted by News18.
