Leaked email of Kavita Krishnan shows strategy to run agenda against removal of Article 370 with help of retired officers of Army & IAF

On 17 August, Six petitioners, including former Air Vice Marshal Kapil Kak and Retired Major General Ashok Mehta, have moved the Supreme Court challenging the J&K Reorganisation Bill & the abrogation of Article 370.

On 16 August, one day before this petition, Many emails of leftist activist Kavita Krishnan became viral on social media. These emails include details of her strategy of protesting the removal of special status Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. These emails, leaked in the form of screenshots in which she is talking about taking help from reputed personalities in her agenda. This email seems to be related to her ‘Fact-Finding Team’ which returned from the recent tour of Kashmir.

In a screenshot, Kavita Krishnan instructed the three men to first leave from Kashmir with the rest of the collected ‘material’ (photos, videos, documents, etc.).

In the second screenshot, Kavita Krishnan is seen talking about Ex-Air Vice Marshal Kapil Kak, Justice Shah. What is the context of this, it cannot be said with certainty, but it can be inferred after the petition filed by Ex- Air Vice Marshal Kapil Kak.

It can be also inferred from this tweet of Kavita Krishnan where she is referring Ex Air Vice Marshal Kapil Kak.

Ex-Air V Marshal Kapil Kak is same man who calls separatist leader Geelani his father. NDTV always invites these fake Kashmiri Pandits like Dr U Kaul (personal physician of Yasin Malik) and Air V Marshal Kapil Kak on their show.

Third screenshot again mentions a “Justice Shah”. Krishnan’s aide named Rakesh Shukla says that apart from Justice Shah, more retired judges can be approached including . Apart from this, dignitaries from other fields, such as art, law, writing, etc., are also discussed.

In this leaked emails, Justice Shah & Justice Chandru J name have come. Former Madras high court judge K Chandru is same judge who has opposed the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A in a recent interview. Justice Shah might refer to former chief justice of Delhi High Court Justice A P Shah.

These screenshots of Kavita Krishnan’s emails have gone viral on social media. The authenticity of the screenshots can’t be verified but It is quite relatable after the petition filed against the J&K Reorganisation Bill & the abrogation of Article 370 by Six petitioners, including former Air Vice Marshal Kapil Kak and Retired Major General Ashok Mehta,
