Indian Combat Aircraft Mirage 2000 crashed near Bengaluru Airport on Friday. There were two pilots in this Aircraft. According to a news agency ANI report, this plane crashed during the landing at Bangalore Airport around 11.20 am. The news agency has confirmed the death of both pilots in the incident. The name of the two pilots were Squadron Leader Siddharth Negi and Squadron Leader Sameer Abrol.

The other pilot who had also ejected has succumbed to injuries in hospital.

Three helicopters and two fire engines came to the rescue within minutes of the crash. The Mirage 2000 that crashed today was freshly upgraded at HAL. The 2 young pilots, both Squadron Leaders, were on an acceptance test sortie.
