Former Indian Cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is coming soon with a series in which he will narrate the stories of the Gallantry awardees officers of the Indian Army. StudioNext will soon launch a show to narrate the stories of army officers in collaboration with MS Dhoni.
MS Dhoni is himself a lieutenant colonel in the Parachute Regiment in the Territorial Army. He has been out of Team India since the ICC World Cup. He played the last match for India against New Zealand in July this year.
According to Zee News Report, MS Dhoni will narrate the stories of the brave Paramvir Chakra and Ashok Chakra awardees in his show. The show will feature fascinating and special life stories of Indian army officers.”
According to a report, the TV series will tell personal stories of military officers because Mahendra Singh Dhoni wants to bring the stories of brave soldiers through his show who sacrificed their lives for country.
In 2011, MS Dhoni was given the rank of honorary Lieutenant Colonel in the Army as he is a youth icon and the Army wanted to attract youngsters. He is the second cricketer to receive this honor. Kapil dev has received this honor before this. Ms Dhoni belongs to the Parachute Regiment of the Army and he has also taken the training in the firing of weapons and other activities in the Indian Army.
