Mumbai police has registered an FIR against a group of people allegedly circulating a video on TikTok, related to mob lynching of Tabrez Ansari in Jharkhand. These group of people are Tik-Tok stars with huge followers. Tik-Tok has removed the video and suspended the accounts of the group of people.

The short video, released through media application TikTok, shows five youths saying, “You may have killed that innocent Tabrez Ansari, but tomorrow if his son takes revenge, do not say that all Muslims are terrorists”.
Mumbai police registered this case after the complaint filed by the Mumbai based social activist Ramesh Solanki for inciting people n justifying violence,terrorism.

After this FIR, Mumbai police starts the investigation against Tik-Tok group under 153A IPC by Cyber Cell.

Tik-Tok india has also suspended the account of those top influencers identified as Hasnain Khan, Faisal Shaikh and Sadhan Faroqui.
