During the Lok Sabha elections, the opposition has consistently been accusing the Modi government of ‘politicizing martyrdom’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reversed the allegations of the Opposition in the interview given to Doordarshan on Monday. PM Modi said that the country has been suffering from terrorism for the last 40 years, our countless soldiers have been martyred. What do we think for martyr soldiers, should not this be the issue of elections? If the farmers in the country die, theis becomes the issue of elections, but if the young jawans die, then this issue is not an issue, how can it be?
Referring to the problem of Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this problem has been stuck with the times of the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. We have taken a path for 70 years to solve the kasmir issue but if the results do not come then we have to take a new route. So, we have made a special plan on Article 370 or Section 35A.
PM Modi has said that the army of the country has become strong, can we not keep our opinion in front of the people of this country? Can any country in the world walk without patriotism? If we have to win the medal in the Olympics then you will have to be able to fill the patriotism with youngsters, then there will be a possibility of bringing medal. If we talk of patriotism then what is wrong in it?
Significantly, there was a terrorist attack on Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on February 14th. In this attack, 40 CRPF jawans were martyred. After this, PM Modi had said in a rally that the martyrdom of the soldiers will not be forgotten by this country and then the Indian Air Force had air strikes on the bases of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed in Balakot, Pakistan.
