Our fight against the Naxalites will get stronger: Home Minister Amit Shah

22 soldiers lost their lives in a Naxalite attack in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh on Apr 3, 2021. After this cowardly act of Naxalites, the Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Chhattisgarh today to meet the injured soldiers in hospital. Home Minister also paid tribute to soldiers who sacrificed their lives.

Home Minister Amit Shah will also hold a big meeting on Naxalites in Jagdalpur. Earlier, Amit Shah had a big meeting in Delhi, which included officers paramilitary forces along with intelligence agencies.

“I pay tribute to the soldiers who were martyred in the encounter with the Naxalites in Chhattisgarh. I assure their family and country that the sacrifices that the soldiers have made for the country will not go in vain. Our fight against the Naxalites will get stronger and we will take it to the end result,” Union Home Minister Amit Shah said.

On 3 April, an encounter between security forces and Naxalites took place in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. In this encounter, 22 soldiers lost their lives. The bodies of 21 soldiers were recovered during search operation while a young soldier is still missing.
