Many major Pakistani media houses have claimed that Pakistani Pm Imran Khan met with Russian president Vladimir Putin at a dinner hosted by US President Donald Trump in New York in honour of the visiting dignitaries from across the World.

Times of Islamabad, Business World, Dunya News and many other Pakistani reported this false claim.

Times of Islamabad

“Prime Minister Imran Khan was seen discussing different issues with Russian President Putin during a dinner hosted for world leaders by US President Trump on the occasion of 74th session of United Nations General Assembly in New York”, Business World claimed.

Business World

Dunya News deleted this report from its website.

But these reports are false because Russian president Vladimir Putin is in Russia now and he has not even attended the UNGA this year. According to Al-Jazeera report, Putin met with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro by skipping UNGA.

This means that Pakistani media has invented this story by itself while There was no dinner hosted by US president Donald Trump.
