Government of Pakistan has decided not to evacuate its citizens from the coronavirus-hit Wuhan to show “solidarity” with its all-weather ally, a senior official announced, though four Pakistani nationals have contracted the deadly disease in China.

According to Pakistani media report, 800 Pakistani students were studying in various universities in Wuhan. Some worried Pakistani students in Wuhan have demanded immediate evacuation on social media.
Unlike Pakistan, India has planned to evacuate its students from Wuhan city as well as from the worst-hit Hubei province from Friday. India had requested China to give permission to operate two flights to bring back Indian nationals from China.

Due to outbreak of coronavirus in Wuhan (China), 170 people have lost their lives.
