People throw eggs on Pakistan Railway minister Sheikh Rasheed in London

Pakistan Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid, who is often in news due to his controversial statements, face a huge embarrassment in London when people were punched him and eggs were thrown at him while he was attending an award ceremony in London, England.

According to Pakistani media, Sheikh Rashid, the head of Awami Muslim League and Railway Minister of Pakistan was attacked when he was leaving for an award ceremony at a hotel in London. However, those who attacked him escaped from the spot.

Following the incident, on Wednesday, Asif Ali Khan, president of the People’s Youth Organization Europe, affiliated to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Samah Naz, the president of the party’s Greater London Women’s Branch, claimed responsibility for the attack.

They said that Rashid had used abusive words against PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, against which they took this step. They said in their statement that they had only thrown eggs on Sheikh Rashid.

Both leaders said that Sheikh Rashid should be thankful that They only used the civilized method of egg-throwing in Britain to ‘protest’ against him. The Awami Muslim League has said that no video of this incident is available, but the two leaders have themselves acknowledged the attack. The party is considering filing a case with the police.

Sheikh Rasheed is the same Pakistani minister who threatened India of nuclear attack after the withdrawal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmad threatened India after removal Section 370 from Jammu & Kashmir. He had said that PM Modi has done all this in Kashmir on the lines of Israel and now there will be slaughter in Kashmir just like Israel.

Threatening India, Rashid said – If Pakistan’s land is attacked, no birds will chirp in India, neither grass will grow nor birds will flutter, Pakistan will destroy India from its roots. Sheikh Rashid is now beaten up in London and eggs are also thrown at him by his own country’s people.
