Power cut in Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s office over non-payment of Electricity bills

Pakistan’s economic situation is on the verge of bankruptcy. it can be understood from this that due to non-payment of bills, the power of the Pakistani Prime Minister’s Secretariat has been cut.

According to report, Due to non-payment of lakhs of rupees electricity bill by Pakistani Prime Minister’s office, The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) issued a notice to Prime minister office to cut the power on Wednesday, August 28.

According to ‘Express News’ report, the Prime Minister’s Secretariat owes a bill of Rs 41 lakhs rupees to the Islamabad Electric Supply Company(IESCO). Last month’s bill was more than 35 lakhs, whereas the earlier arrears of 5 lakh 58 thousand rupees.

Sources in the company said that the electricity bill is not regularly filled by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat. Sometimes the bill money is deposited and sometimes The bill money is not deposited for a month. For this reason, there is arrears on it. Power will be cut off if not deposited.
