Protests are going on in the whole country against the Citizenship Amendment Act. A large number of people staged a fierce protest in Seelampur area of North East Delhi. They demanded that the new citizenship law be withdrawn.
Protesters also pelted stone at School bus in Seelampur, North East Delhi. Watch the video:

Glasses of several vehicles were broken during the protest. Some policemen were injured in the stone pelting. However, the situation is under control now. Police said that the miscreants have been arrested from the spot. Seelampur station of Delhi Metro has also been opened.

Earlier, the police fired tear gas shells to control the crowd. The Seelampur to Jafrabad road was closed due to the protest. The mob vandalized many buses. Police has started operations by encircling entire areas. Several metro stations including Seelampur, Jafrabad, Maujpur-Babpur, Gokulpuri were closed due to the protest.

The protests in Seelampur started at 1 pm. During this time many people were demonstrating and demanding the removal of the new citizenship law. The protest became fierce. After this, the stones pelting started on police and buses.
