Rahul Gandhi with 9 other leaders to visit kashmir, Local authorities request, Don’t try to disturb the situation

After removal of Article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir, A delegation of Opposition party leaders to visit SRINAGAR tomorrow. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma, CPI’s D Raja, CPI(M)’s Sitaram Yechury, RJD’s Manoj Jha will also be a part of the delegation.

Jammu & Kashmir administration has requested these political leaders to cooperate and not visit Srinagar. J&K administration stated, “At a time when the government is trying to protect the people of Jammu & Kashmir and trying to restore public order by controlling miscreants and mischief mongers then attempts should not be made by senior political leaders to disturb the gradual restoration of normal life. Political leaders are requested to cooperate and not visit Srinagar as they would be putting other people to inconvenience.”

J&K administration further stated, ” They(Political Leaders) would also be violating restrictions that are still there in many areas. Senior leaders should understand that top priority would be given to maintaining peace, order and preventing loss of human lives.”

On Thursday, Many opposition Parties came out in support of political leaders of mainstream political parties in Jammu and Kashmir by protesting and demanding their release. This rally was organised by DMK party in New Delhi where many opposition parties supported this & took part in it.
