Saddam Qureshi, admin of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ WhatsApp group, arrested by Bihar Police

Bihar Police has arrested a 22-year-old youth Saddam Qureshi, a resident of Nagani Chowk, Betiah, West Champaran district of Bihar. He was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly running ‘Pakistan Zindabad‘ Whatsapp group against India. He used this group for anti-national activities and inciting religious hatred.

Superintendent of Police Jayant kant said that the name of the arrested person is Saddam Qureshi, who was the Administrator of this Whatsapp group. He also told that the mobile phone has been seized which was operated by Saddam Qureshi. Saddam has been sent to jail for conspiracy to harm the country’s unity and integrity.

Bettiah police station registered a case under section 153A, 153B, and 298 against Qureshi for spewing venom and spreading communal hatred through its anti-India posts.

It is being suspected that Saddam Qureshi may have links with Pakistan, the police are investigating this matter from various angles.
