Reason Behind the severe protests in Murshidabad?
Actually Murshidabad district of West Bengal shares borders with Bangladesh as you can see in the below map. Lalgola is a place at India-Bangladesh border in Murshidabad district and because of this, many illegal Bangladeshis cross the border easily and live in the area near Lalgola. This is the main reason behind the severe protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 in Murshidabad.
