‘Social media can do the magic’- see what Govt. is giving this kargil hero due to social media

‘I salute Defense Minister(Nirmala Sithraman), Defense PRO and especially people on Social Media and also Navbharat Times, I could get the right of the entire pension today, thanks to these people.’ Speaking these words with a very passionate mind, Kargil Warrior Satbir Singh was full of teary eyes. For so many years, the fight for the entire pension came, I wrote more than 10,000 letters. In this fight, Harpal Rana has stayed with me since the beginning. Half of the pension was coming in his account but Where did half the pension go? during this time where was the disturbance? It was not known to Satbir Singh, but in the Rajya Sabha, thi issue was raised in front of the Defense Minister, after the issue of defense, the deficiencies were found.

Now Finally, this week, on behalf of Defense Ministry, Satbir singh has got three letters, in which details of the sanctioned pension from the beginning till now, with the details of the half-sum amount taht reached in his account, has written and also written that the next 42,000/months rupees pension will be available from next month. Together, the announcement has been made to transfer Arrears  of 14 lakh rupees into his account which was not transferred to his accounts in previous few years.

After raising the news of Satbir Singh, many reactions had started coming to his support from across the country. This news became viral in news channels and social media across the country. There are lots of comments on Twitter by tagging the news. In the same episode, 4 official statements were issued from the official Twitter handle by tagging this news of NBT on behalf of the Ministry of Defense. The defense minister himself retweeted himself.

On behalf of the Defense Ministry (Army Headquarters), the spokesman has said that during the Kargil Operation Vijay, the Indian Army is always proud of the sacrifice, courage and bravery of Rifleman Satbir Singh (Retired). Retired Rifleman Satbir Singh was discharged from army service on May 23, 2000. His service in the army was 13 years, 11 months and 15 days. All the honorable dues had been paid to him on his retirement. Disability amount of 1,12,500, severe injury during the war, 3,770 each month, Army Central Welfare Fund Rs 4,50,000, National Defense Fund for education of Rs 1 lakh, 36,918 rupees of Army Group Insurance Fund Apart from this, it was claimed that till today, Rifleman Satbir Singh is being given a pension of Rs 40,332 as pensioner every month.

Satbir singh took two bullets during kargil war but now he is running a juice shop.
