Tamil Nadu Police has busted an ISIS(Islamic State) Module wherein Three Muslim youth were arrested for connection with ISIS. They were recruiting youngsters in ISIS.
On Wednesday, Three Muslim youth were arrested from Devipattinam in Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu. They were radicalising youngsters, recruiting them and raising money for terrorist group Islamic State, police said.
According to Police, Four Muslim Youth linked with ISIS assembled at a place in Devipattinam of Ramanathapuram district to discuss recruiting youngsters in the area for the IS and mobilising finance for the terror outfit.
The Tamil Nadu Police rushed to the spot where they were assembled. Police arrested the three accused while fourth suspect fled. Three arrested Muslim youth were identified as Purakani alias Pichaikani, Amir and Mohammed Ali. The fourth suspect fled whose name was Sheikh Dawood. All four were in the wanted list of NIA.
According to Police, They were planning to recruit the youth and train them at the Madarasas at Devipattinam, Keezhaiyenthal and other places. They were also planning to give prizes to those who had successfully passed out of the training and to implement an action programme of the outfit.
Books of Jihadi literature were also seized from arrested Muslim youth.
