There Has Been No Detention Of Indian Soldiers At The China Border: Indian Army

Indian Army has rejected the reports on the detention of Indian soldiers at China border.

Indian Army spokesperson Colonel Aman Anand said, “There has been no detention of Indian soldiers at the China border. We categorically deny this. It only hurts national interests when media outlets publish unsubstantiated news.”

On Saturday, NDTV reported a fake news news about Indian Army and claimed that an Indian patrol party of the army and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) were detained by the Chinese troops and later released by Chinese forces after a scuffle between the two sides in Ladakh earlier this week.
