Four people, including three Indian Army personnel, lost their lives in a road accident in Sikkim. The 13-year-old son of an army colonel is also among those who lost their lives in this accident. The accident took place on Sunday near the India-China border in Nathula, when the vehicle of military personnel passing through a snowy road slipped into a deep gorge below.
According to East Sikkim Police, an army vehicle fell down from a snow-laden Jawahar Lal Nehru Road at 17th mile near Nathula on 20th December. In this accident, three Indian Army soldiers along with a 13-year-old child of a Colonel lost their lives, while another soldier was critically injured.

One injured soldier has been airlifted to Kolkata for treatment, while the dead bodies have been recovered from the crashed vehicle and sent for post-mortem.
