First time in the history, a TIRANGA was unfurled at Palamadgu under PS Polampalli in Sukma District of Bastar division in Chhattisgarh on Saturday. This area belong to the Palamadugu area of Naxal-affected Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, where the TIRANGA could not be hoisted due to the Naxalites Terror. But on Saturday, on the Republic Day, people in this area saw waving the first TRIANGA in their life.
By showing courage, security forces stormed the Naxalites and challenged them. It is worth mentioning that every year where the tricolor was hoisted in the country, the Naxalites used to hoist the black flag in the area. Palamadgu is the complete Hardcore Naxalite area. Even during the recently concluded assembly elections, the Maoists had painted the polling booths by Maoist slogans.
