Andhra Pradesh govt replaces Tricolour with YSRC party colours

The Jagan Mohan Reddy government of Andhra Pradesh has replaced the Tricolour on the wall of Panchayat building with its Party’s flag colour. A photo is becoming viral on social media, in which a person is seen painting a wall painted with tricolor with the color of YSR Congress Party flag. After the photo became public, Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy and his party are getting a lot of criticism. Former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu has also targeted the YSRC government.

The incident is from Anantapur district where a worker is seen painting the color of YSR party flag over the Tricolour in Tamideepalli village of Amrapuram block. Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy has also instructed in the past that all Panchayat buildings in the state should be given the colour fof YSR Congress Party. A directive has been also issued to install the photo of chief Minister at the entrance of the Panchayat building.

Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has targeted current Cm Jagan Mohan Reddy . He wrote in a tweet, “I have never seen our National Tricolour being utterly disrespected like this! YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government must apologise for this shocking, abominable act of replacing tricolour with YSRC party colours.”
